Making Real Connections® Extra! Extra! Extraordinary

Making Real ConnectionsⓇ

It's a new school year for many children and young adults causing changes in many areas of life.Within the family system routines, activities, work schedules, play time and even family dinners can all be affected creating excitement and anxiety at the same time. Personally, it is a time for growth and reaching outside one's comfort zone or curiosity.

Confident, assertive, resourceful and educated people can go far with the right modifications if routines and schedules are necessary or if someone has difficulty navigating real world situations.Teaching our children HOW to think and not WHAT to think encourages problem solving, outside of the box thinking and creates a sense of control when faced with challenges or new things that seem intimidating. Preparing for a new school year is fun with an abundance of encouragement and reasonable expectations.

Listen to this mom as she supports her kids... Is this a familiar tune?
